City of Colours, Beyond Zone One

It’s not everyday I can be tempted to travel outside of London (well Zone One to be exact) to attend an outdoor event… but last weekend (6-7 September 2014) I decided to make the bold trip to Digbeth and check out the first ever City of Colours – Street Art Festival in Birmingham.

With a line-up consisting of over 100 artists with the likes of Vibes, Odisy, Jim Vision, Title, Inkie, Dank, SNUB23, Alex Senna, The Lost Souls, Philth, Tizer, Pref, Inkfetish, Mr Cenz, Epok, 3DOM, Gent 48 & Newso 48, painting across 10 venues, it’s fair to say my journey to the Midlands was certainly worthwhile.

Below are some of the photos I took while on location featuring some of my favourite artworks from the event, but for a more detailed account of the festival do check out Urban Nerding for their in-depth coverage of the City of Colours Festival 2014.
